Interior Design Fundamentals Certification

Turn your passion into a career with our Interior Design Fundamentals Certification. Master essential skills in color, lighting, design processes, materials, and socially responsible practices while building a portfolio through four residential projects, ending with a full home design. Now featuring newly integrated AI tools to support your creative process and prepare you for the future of the industry.

Gain real-world experience and industry connections through weekly visits to showrooms, design firms, and manufacturers. By the end, you will have the skills, portfolio, and network to launch your interior design career with confidence.

Interior Design Fundamentals + Technical Skills Certification (Fast-Track)

Advance your design skills and gain professional expertise in just three months with this accelerated program. Combine our comprehensive Interior Design Fundamentals Certification with one technical course of your choice to learn an industry-standard tool such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or Revit.

This program gives you the creative and technical skills to bring your design vision to life, build a standout portfolio, and position yourself for success in the interior design industry.

Residential Design Master’s Certification

Take your interior design skills to the next level with the Residential Master of Interior Design Certification. This advanced program combines our Interior Design Fundamentals with specialized electives, giving you a comprehensive education and a competitive, professional portfolio.

The Residential Design Master’s Certification requires completion of the following courses:

    • Interior Design Fundamentals

    • Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign)

The Residential and Commercial Design Master’s Certification prepares students for a career in interior design with a focus on technical expertise and business skills. Students gain proficiency in both residential and commercial design, learning to navigate real-world project challenges with confidence.

Building on the Interior Design Fundamentals Certification, this program includes skill-building electives and culminates in a final portfolio presentation, giving students a comprehensive skill set and a polished portfolio that sets them apart in the interior design industry.
