Now that you have gathered the necessary skills, knowledge, and projects needed to create an impressive portfolio, you are ready to complete the Masters Portfolio Capstone course! This 12-week studio-based capstone focuses on the development and refinement of a professional interior design portfolio that communicates each student’s brand, design voice, and technical capabilities. Through scheduled studio sessions and individual 1:1 meetings with the instructor, students curate and refine project content, layouts, and presentation strategies. Emphasis is placed on storytelling, visual clarity, and professional standards. By the end of the course, students will complete a polished portfolio suitable for presentation at graduation and for use with potential clients or employers. HSID students meet as a class bi-weekly with a virtual lecture every other week. This course requires weekly deliverables with 1:1 check-ins over the course of its twelve weeks, with a total of 6 class lectures.
