I am a recent graduate of the masters certification program at Heritage and I can honestly say, without a doubt or hesitation, that going through this program changed my life. From start to finish, I knew I was embarking on a special journey that was carefully curated to make sure I was successful in this industry. The teachers are professionals who have careers in Interior Design, some with a background in Architecture, and some are even running their own firms. The pool of knowledge is vast and so inspiring to be a part of. This was a career change for me and I was coming from being a stay-at-home mom for 10 years. Being able to take the part-time track was manageable for me and my family life. That being said, it was also one of the most challenging things I have ever done, but I know that I am better designer for having gone through it all. This program pushes you to understand not only the technical skills it takes to succeed, but also to learn about the type of person you are in this industry. It reveals your strengths and the areas that need work. It drives you to be the best version of yourself under pressure and gives you real world experiences with venders, team collaborations, and meeting strict time lines. I know I will be a success in this industry because of the foundation I received from Heritage and I am forever grateful to Rhonda Larson, all of my teachers, and my fellow classmates who were with me on my journey.Posted on Google![]()

Design Wright Studios We've had the pleasure of hiring several graduates from Heritage Design School, and the experience has been outstanding. Their students come to us incredibly well-prepared — they understand both the creative and technical sides of design consulting and adapt quickly to our fast-paced studio environment. What really stands out is the professionalism and hands-on readiness Heritage instills in their students. They’re comfortable with client-facing work, have a strong eye for design, and are proactive problem-solvers — exactly what we look for in entry-level roles. We’re grateful for the continued partnership with Heritage and look forward to welcoming more of their talented graduates to our team in the future.Posted on Google![]()

I have been lucky enough to employ two HSID students this past year and they have been two of the best moves I've ever made for my business. Their design and technical skills filled our gaps (and then some!) and I was able to give them leadership roles much sooner than I anticipated. I will be shopping more grads soon. :)Posted on Google![]()

We had the good fortune to hire a Heritage grad for our team several years ago. That team member had excellent training in a diverse range of skill sets, and has been an incredible addition. I would strongly recommend to any design firm that they give serious consideration to any Heritage grads applying to their firm.Posted on Google![]()

Attending Heritage School of Interior Design was one of the best decisions I’ve made for my career. The program gave me not only the technical skills I needed like space planning, rendering, and presentation prep but also the confidence to launch my own design business. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, and the community of students and alumni is so uplifting. What I loved most was how hands-on the program was. You’re not just learning theory, you’re applying it right away, and building a portfolio you can actually use after graduation. I left Heritage feeling prepared, inspired, and proud of the work I’d created. Since graduating, I’ve launched my own staging and design business and I owe so much of that momentum to Heritage. If you're passionate about interiors and ready to take that leap, I can't recommend this school enough!Posted on Google![]()

I highly recommend Heritage School of Interior Design to anyone serious about pursuing a career in interior design. I attended from September 2024 to March 2025 through the Master Certificate Program. As a returning student coming from a long career in sales and finance, the transition was challenging—at times even a bit of a shock—but it was absolutely worth it. The journey is humbling, but incredibly rewarding if you stay committed and push through to the finish line. What I love most about the school is how genuinely the owner and staff care about the students and their success. They’re also highly responsive and open to change, continually adapting the curriculum to meet the evolving demands of the interior design industry. The instructors are fantastic—each class feels intentionally curated and thoughtfully delivered. It’s a place where passion, professionalism, and support truly come together.Posted on Google![]()

I am currently enrolled as a full-time student at Heritage School of Interior Design of Denver and working toward my Master Certificate. I just finished my first semester and pivoting my career and joining the Heritage program has already proven to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. I was extremely attracted to the real-world, hands-on, technical nature of Heritage’s Master’s Program. I knew I wanted to pivot my career, but I didn’t want to feel like I was starting over or negating all the hard work and experience I’d acquired over the past 18 years. Heritage applies a “yes and” approach to their educational program. “Yes” they honor where I’ve been and what I’ve learned … “And” they are teaching me the industry skills I need to be a successful Interior Designer. This program is purposeful, highly curated and intentionally focused on preparing students to be high performing from the moment they graduate. For those serious about entering into the world of Interior Design, I highly recommend this program!Posted on Google![]()

I decided to enter into the Interior Design world after I was 40yo and had completed multiple degrees in other fields. Heritage was the perfect place for me to delve into this new career knowing I didn't want another 4 (or even 2) years of schooling. Even though the program is accelerated, I received an in-depth amount of knowledge and hands on skills that helped me have a successful entry as a designer at a high end design studio. (There is no fluff here -- it's fun and exciting, but also very challenging) I'm so grateful for the teachers who clearly have a passion for both design and student success. I now have my own successful Interior Design business and I owe it all to Heritage.
