Megan is an interior designer, business strategist, and founder of The Nue Collective, a consulting practice dedicated to helping interior designers build stronger, more sustainable businesses. With more than 15 years of industry experience, her perspective has been shaped by her work as a designer, business owner, and operations leader. Megan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from Harrington College of Design in Chicago and an Associate’s Degree in Architectural Technology. She spent much of her career in residential design, including owning and operating her own full-service design studio in Denver, before shifting her focus to the operational and business side of the industry. As the Professional Development Instructor at Heritage, Megan’s goal is to help students bridge the gap between design education and the realities of building a career in the industry. She hopes to create a practical and supportive classroom experience where students can build confidence, strengthen their professionalism, and develop a solid business foundation as they prepare to enter the industry and pursue careers that reflect their individual goals. Outside of work, Megan loves seeking out new places and experiences with her husband and young daughter, Hazel. Whether traveling internationally, setting out on a road trip, snowshoeing through the mountains, or hunting for something special at an antique shop, she loves the sense of discovery.
