Samantha Ivari is a Colorado Native and a recent graduate of Heritage Denver. After graduating from High School, she began her secondary education path pursuing a major in Biology, but quickly realized that biology was not the “calling” in her life. Samantha grew up around design and home renovations. As a child of parents who flipped homes as an occupation, she was familiar and very much appreciated the hustle and bustle of the renovation process. Her parent’s occupation sparked her interest in design, and it was her fascination, true passion and love for design that drew her to develop that interest. Samantha remembers spending much of her free time on Zillow and watching HGTV looking at houses and watching design shows mainly to appreciate the design of the homes and the architecture. She loved seeing how small design details could pull together an entire room.
After graduating from Heritage, Samantha began working at Egg & Dart, a showroom in the Denver Design District. Her job title is In House Shopper and Outside Sales Support. This position allows her to support and assist designers within the Egg & Dart territory, including Colorado, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, New Mexico, and Idaho. She helps designers find the perfect design details for their current projects. Samantha also supports the outside sales team, as they are out of the office meeting with designers within the territory. Her job is fast-paced and detailed oriented, and with the knowledge and skills she gained at Heritage, she is stepping up to every element of this new position.
Attending Heritage gave Samantha that foundation and the base of knowledge that she needed to thrive in the Interior Design Industry. The expertise that she gained around textiles, including different types, patterns, contents, attributes, and usage is all information she uses daily in her new role at Egg & Dart. Before attending Heritage, Samantha was hesitant to speak in front of others. She appreciates that Heritage allowed her to master her skills on how to professionally present herself within the industry and helped her gain confidence as an Interior Designer.
Samantha is a young new Interior Designer and is excited for the career path that she has chosen. She is confident in the fact that no matter where this new career takes her, she will be happy working in the design industry. She is incredibly happy in her position at Egg & Dart, but would love to eventually follow in the footsteps of her parents, pursue her realtors license, and flip houses! She could also see herself working at the headquarters of a textile company.
We are confident that her passion and the knowledge and skills she has developed thus far will take her down whichever path she chooses!
