As designers, our paths are often illuminated by the inspiration of those who have come before us. For me, Kelly Wearstler stands as a beacon of creativity and entrepreneurship, igniting my passion for design and shaping my journey in the industry. Her innovative work continues to inspire me as I evolve and grow daily alongside other talented designers.

In 2019 I transitioned from a 20+ year career in the fashion industry to pursue Interior Design. It was a bold leap, but one that brought me immense joy and fulfillment. While fashion was a creative outlet, it wasn’t until I began exploring the realms of hardware, finishes, and textiles in Interior Design that I found a new level of excitement.

The decision to change careers was challenging, yet the fulfillment I have while designing spaces made it all worth it. At the core of my passion for design lies a desire to be a people pleaser. I love to create spaces that enhance the lives of others! My work focuses on the comfort of a welcoming home or the motivation found in an aesthetically pleasing workspace, the ability to positively impact someone’s life through design is truly fulfilling.

Each hurdle served as a stepping stone towards building a successful business. Over the years, word-of-mouth referrals and the support of satisfied clients helped pave the way for the growth of my firm.

Attending HSID Portland Campus in 2019 gave me the knowledge and confidence to navigate the world of Interior Design after graduating. The connections I formed within the industry and among peers have been instrumental in my growth as a designer.

 

Looking ahead, I am thrilled to announce the expansion of Heritage School of Interior Design to multiple locations across California, starting with Los Angeles. The opportunity to mentor future generations of designers fills me with such excitement and purpose. I can’t wait to guide others on their journey in the world of Interior Design!
