Amy White has been a valued member of the Heritage School of Interior Design team since 2015. As the Director of Operations, she is dedicated to driving the school’s growth and ensuring its continued success. Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing & Advertising from Portland State University. Although her formal education was in business, her passion for interior design has always been evident. After spending two years as a Marketing Assistant in a corporate setting, Amy realized that she craved a more creative and fulfilling career. With guidance from local interior designer Amy Troute, she enrolled at Heritage in 2014 to explore interior design as a potential career path. This decision quickly opened doors for her in the design industry. She completed an internship at Garrison Hullinger Interior Design as a Marketing Assistant, served as the Social Media Coordinator for the award-winning Westlake Development Group LLC, and worked as a Design Consultant for an independent design firm. Amy feels incredibly fortunate to have found her dream job, where she can blend her business acumen with her love for interior design. She is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students, finding it especially rewarding to witness their growth and transformation during and after their time at Heritage. Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, two children, and Mini Australian Shepherd. She also loves baking and traveling.
