Amall Alzuraqi is an architecture-minded interior designer and creative force with a passion for transforming spaces and inspiring others. Fresh out of high school, Amall embarked on an unconventional path, enlisting in the U.S. Army, serving eight years as a Parachute Rigger 92R (Airborne). Her military experience instilled discipline, resilience, and precision; qualities that continue to shape her design practice and professional approach. It wasn’t until after leaving the Army that she fully embraced a lifelong love of design, recognizing it as a guiding thread throughout her life. She pursued this calling by earning a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from the University of North Texas. Since then, Amall has built a dynamic career that bridges creativity, technical expertise, and hands-on construction experience. While still a college student, she began her career as an Industry Partner running a showroom in Dallas’ Design District, specializing in reclaimed wood building materials, before discovering her true passion in interior restoration. She spent a few years contracting as an Interior Architect, completing home restoration through insurance claims and helping rebuild homes affected by natural disasters in Texas. More recently, she has led her own home renovation projects for real estate investors, completing high-end and historic house flips throughout Dallas. She also works as an Interior Designer for ML Interiors Group, LLC. She has an innate passion for sharing her knowledge of interior architecture, design, and the technical software that supports the next generation of designers, which has led her to instruct at the Heritage School of Interior Design, where she teaches Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite. Beyond her professional work, Amall is deeply invested in the design community. She serves as Student Liaison and Education Chair for the Interior Design Society DFW chapter board, bridging the gap between students and professionals, mentoring and guiding aspiring designers as they launch their careers. Outside the studio, Amall’s life is vibrant and full of purpose. She cherishes time with her family, sings in a worship band, volunteers with her church, and embraces the outdoors while staying active. Guided by faith, creativity, and curiosity, she approaches every project and day with intention, committed to leaving a positive impact wherever she goes.
