Our Favorite IKEA Products To Refresh Your Space

By Heritage | Design Trends, Interior Design | 0 comment | 12 August, 2019 | 0

Heritage CEO, Stephanie Thornton Plymale, was recently featured in an Apartment Therapy article, The 5 IKEA Products Professional Home Stagers Swear By. While IKEA products are great for staging, these affordable finds are also a perfect way to refresh and update your own home! Continue reading to learn about our personal favorites from IKEA.

UTSUND LED String Lights

To elevate an outdoor space, we love Ikea’s UTSUND LED string lights. At $16.99 these LED string lights compete with the pricey $40-50 halogen bulbs from other stores and will last a lot longer. They add ambience to any space and complete a cozy backyard look. They even have a built in timer which turns them on at the same time everyday and shuts off after 6 hours. See below how Stephanie used these lights in her own backyard!

DINERA Dinnerware

Changing out your dinnerware is an easy way to seasonally update the kitchen or dining room– and Ikea makes it inexpensive as well! For a breezy summer look, try their DINERA set in “light pink”. The blush glazed stoneware pairs well with almost any linen or looks gorgeous alone. The matte finish on the glaze gives the set an elevated cool.

VITTSJÖ Shelf Unit

If you have limited space, this VITTSJÖ shelf unit is a great addition to your living room, home office, or bedroom at only $50. Adorn the shelves with books, candles, indoor plants and picture frames. Give yourself some hidden storage by adding decorative boxes. You can easily transform this product by painting the frame gold, as seen below.

SINNERLIG Pendant

This pendant frequently seen on Pinterest and Instagram is a steal! For $69 you can upgrade the look of your space by replacing your existing light fixture with the SINNERLIG pendant, designed by Illse Crawford and made of woven bamboo. Not only is it beautiful to look at, but it also creates a welcoming glow when you enter the room.
