Heritage School of Interior Design provides a unique alternative to a traditional Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. The vision of HSID is to empower the creativity of aspiring designers and creative professionals with a quality, hands-on education to achieve personal growth and professional success in the interior design industry. Our interior design courses provide accelerated, application based instruction, which can prepare you for a variety of roles in the design industry. PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL GROWTH
HSID students have a natural talent for design but need an education to translate their passion into exceptional design work. The Masters Program provides students with a thorough and well-rounded education which includes the majority of the courses we offer. Emphasis is placed on hands-on learning, which allows students to build a professional portfolio of design work throughout their time at HSID. Students develop and enhance their presentation skills to gain the confidence that is necessary in the industry.

Each HSID location sits within the heart of creativity and attracts passionate people with unique backgrounds from each city, as well as nationally and internationally. At HSID we embrace diversity with our culture of inclusion. COLLABORATION & SUPPORT
HSID provides ongoing support to alumni through our online platform, which our graduates can refer to for resources, job opportunities, and networking. Faculty is available for career coaching and guidance as needed. We foster a non-competitive, collaborative environment where everyone’s thoughts, creativity and designs are valued. We have a spirit of mutual respect and proactive thoughtfulness in all interactions.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP & CREATIVITY
Our graduates are creative design professionals. We take an ideas-driven critical thinking approach to our entrepreneurship course to explore creative businesses that are viable for our graduates such as studio practices, design firms or launching startups. Every student that completes the Masters Program is empowered with an extensive professional portfolio, cultivated sales and presentation skills, and a strategic business plan.
SUSTAINABILITY
We continue to integrate the most current sustainable practices for interior design into our course curriculum. We encourage our graduates to poise themselves as stewards of our environment as they develop their design practices.
