Amanda Laycock grew up in Calgary, Canada, and has since lived in Boston, Dallas, San Francisco, and Montana before making Utah home. Her passion for creativity has shaped a unique educational and professional journey, earning degrees in Piano Performance, Fashion Merchandising, and a Bachelor's in Interior Design from Weber State University.
Amanda's diverse career has included commercial interior design, high-end residential design, and sales, giving her a well-rounded understanding of both the creative and business sides of the design industry. As Director of Operations at Heritage School of Interior Design, she is passionate about creating an exceptional experience for students, faculty, and staff. Amanda works to streamline operations, enhance the student experience, and foster an environment where creativity, collaboration, and learning thrive. She is dedicated to empowering and supporting the next generation of designers by helping them build the confidence and skills needed to succeed in the ever-evolving design profession.
