Over the last 20 years, Heritage School of Interior Design has launched thousands of students into the career of their dreams by providing them with the skills they need to work in the field of Interior Design. We will now be offering this education through an online program that will allow students to have greater flexibility with the ability to study on their own time at their own pace. Students will receive the same attention to personal success and will be able to interact with classmates and instructors through online chats, videos and Skype. For students who do live locally, resources will be available through the school including fabrics, floor materials, paint samples, inspirational books and magazines. Overall, the course will have the same feel as what we provide in Portland, Oregon, but can be experienced from anywhere around the world! There is no experience or prior knowledge necessary to take this course, just a passion for Interior Design.

12 WEEK ONLINE CERTIFICATION PROGRAM / $4,999
The Fundamentals of Interior Design Certification program provides students with the knowledge necessary to work as an independent Interior Designer or work within the Interior Design industry. Students learn about elements and principles of design, furniture history, floor planning, elevations, design styles, sustainable design, custom furnishings, selecting fabrics and materials, color schemes, window coverings, artwork, and more! They also learn about professional practices including business formations, communication styles and how to develop a business and marketing plan that will allow them to succeed in the field of Interior Design. The course ends with a client project and final exam.
