In this 6-week course, each student develops a first-year business plan and how to effectively track goals to achieve success. This process includes the discovery of each students’ unique strengths, defining a business strategy and key objectives that align with those strengths, and developing a marketing and sales plan consistent with financial goals. Students present their first-year business plans at the end of the course.
Develop a detailed understanding of your unique personality type and strengths and how they direct the course of your business
Develop a one-page strategic plan including core purpose, core values, mission statement, key strategic objectives and financial objectives
Define your personal business objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for measuring your first year
Develop your businesses positioning statement including target market, key qualifiers, distinct product offering, key benefit statement, and competitive differentiators
Develop your go to market and customer conversion plan
Create a sales forecast and plan.
Develop your first-year budget
Understand key financial concepts and terms including how to read an income statement and balance sheet
Learn practical tools for tracking and measuring your business.
Create and present your business plan
