Heritage School offers career placement assistance to all graduates, including former graduates seeking employment. Our goal for each student is to prepare them for a career in interior design and to assist them in achieving employment. Their employment assistance begins in class with "career guidance" which prepares each student to identify their strengths and employable skills. This module includes resume preparation, interviewing techniques, questions and answer strategies. Our placement statistics are on file with the Board of Education in Salem and run consistently between 98-100%. In many instances the major design businesses contact Heritage seeking our graduates for employment opportunities. Most of our graduates open their own ‘home based design business” but those that prefer to work in the industry are working for some of the employers listed below.
