Introduction to Kitchen and Bath Design | Portland

COURSE OVERVIEW

This 6 week course will give students an overview of the elements of kitchen & bath design through a combination of lectures and hands on activities. The lessons will cover planning and layout, cabinets, fixtures, appliances, materials and lighting. At the completion of the course students will have the basic knowledge to guide a client through the process of remodeling a kitchen or bathroom.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of the course, students will have the basic knowledge to guide a client through the process of remodeling a kitchen or bathroom. Students will complete a design for a kitchen and a bathroom for the final project.
