Kitchen Render

Advanced SketchUp for Kitchen & Bath Design | Portland

This Advanced SketchUp course is for students who successfully completed the Intermediate AutoCAD & SketchUp Course and are looking to further advance their 3-D drafting skills with Sketch-Up, specifically for Kitchen & Bath Design. Over the 7 weeks of this course students will learn more advanced techniques tailored to aid in the designing and presentation of kitchens and bathrooms. The first 2 weeks will be dedicated to learning SketchUp’s 3D modeling techniques. You will learn shortcuts, different ways to use the basic tools, and learn some 3D modeling techniques that will make 3D modeling much more efficient and timely. The next 2 weeks will cover using SketchUp to create images for presentations. In these weeks you will learn how to create 2D and 3D plans and elevations, you will learn how to add and create textures, and you will learn how to play around with some of SketchUp’s more advanced built in rendering techniques. The following 2 weeks will be all about learning Maxwell’s photo-realistic rendering. This part of the course will teach the difference of Maxwell materials and SketchUp material, how to apply and edit Maxwell materials, how to choose models from the SketchUp library that will work with Maxwell, and how to adjust the rendering options to produce a quality final render.
